A ripe, in-season tomato is one of summer’s greatest pleasures! The flavor and texture are unmatched. Local tomatoes, in particular, bring a spectrum of colors, shapes and distinct tasting notes.
From mid summer through early fall, local tomatoes from our Cooperative Farms are abundant. We offer a wide range of tomatoes this time of year, from cherries and heirlooms to slicers and sauce tomatoes. With both unique and classic varieties available, we have a tomato for every occasion. Harvested shortly before delivery, our tomatoes are bursting with flavor and truly are the crown jewels of summer!
Little Gem Lettuce
Little Gems are a cross between romaine and butter lettuce. They come in two colors; green and red. They’re known for their signature crispness, down to their tender core. A standout in lettuce varieties, they are mild, sweet, and incredibly versatile.
From late spring through summer, our gems come straight from our Cooperative farms! Buying gems from FEED directly supports our farmers, supporting one of their strongest-growing, most reliable crops. Heads are hand packed and harvested to order, arriving to you within 24-48 hours of harvest.
